Opening cavalcade
Opening cavalcade
Wednesday 21:00
We're throwing an opening party (with drink tokens) where every artist gets 60 seconds (!) to give us an impression of their show.
First and foremost a low-key get-to-know-you evening — but also great fun to catch a quick glimpse of what everyone is working on!
Add your name and company in the sign-up form — or just decide when you arrive. The order is drawn from a hat either way.
Teaterhøsten
Presentation of the autumn theatre season
Friday 11 Sept, 21:00 · Centralteatret
Instead of sitting on our own little hills promoting our own projects, what if we spent a bit more time engaging the whole scene in each other's projects, so we could all champion each other's work? That's the only way to build a big audience for the independent scene.
So much good work is being made in the independent scene, but even we in the field can't keep up with all of it. Come to TEATERHØSTEN and tell the audience — and the rest of the scene — about your latest project.
Practically, you get a couple of minutes to talk freely about yourself, your company and the show you're working on. (And we're not strict about it happening this autumn — anytime over the coming year is fine.) It all takes place on Centralteatret's main stage at 21:00 on Friday 11 September.
Remember, you have more than 1000 performing arts colleagues in Oslo alone — why be each other's audience when we can be each other's ambassadors?
In addition to the independent groups' presentations on Friday, we're also inviting all the institutional theatres with autumn premieres to pitch on Sunday at 19:00.
Fringe Awards
Fringe Awards — Sunday 20:30, Centralteatret
As tradition dictates, we invite all artists to our closing ceremony — FRINGE AWARDS!
Over the course of the festival, winners have been voted through — and those prizes get handed out. Then one last party with DJ KIKINEE!

BNFN
Oslo Fringe is part of the Baltic-Nordic Fringe Network
BNFN is a collection of several fringe festivals. We work with the network to give artists the opportunity to tour between festivals. Since last year, you can apply to all of them with just one application: an excellent opportunity to travel in Scandinavia and the Baltics.
Read more on their website, or get in touch with us at the festival.
